Sowing Seeds of Self-Empowerment: How Women Are Leading a Thriving Nursery Venture
Women Empowerment & Livelihood Development
We empower women in tribal villages around Jambughoda and Ratanmahal Wildlife Sanctuaries by organizing them into Self-Help Groups (SHGs). Through these groups, we provide training, financial guidance, and access to government schemes that support small businesses in agriculture, livestock, and micro-enterprises. Our efforts foster economic independence, build confidence, and encourage rural entrepreneurship, ultimately strengthening livelihoods and creating more resilient, empowered communities.
Through ongoing guidance, training, and dedicated support, the group of Nani Raski (Jay Gurudev Sakhi Mandal) launched a community plant nursery as a joint venture. The initiative has gained rapid traction,
and they recently secured a plant supply order worth ₹3,00,000 (Three Lakhs), providing a substantial income opportunity for its members.
Beneficiaries – 10 Women.
